He is specialize in high-quality Custom made Ocular Prosthetics, Scleral Shells, facial Prosthesis.
His clinical skill and expertise are equally matched by his personalized care for patients and attention to detail.
Pankaj Bhagwat completed his basic optometry education at Aditya Jyot institute of optometry , and has his training at Shekhar eye research center.
He is the Founder & Director of BHAGWAT EYE CARE successfully running since 2013 he completed training and practicing Specialty Contact Lenses such as Boston sight scleral lens, Rose K lenses & RGP lens.
Also provides Low vision aids for visually disabled.Such as magnifiers ,telescope,electronic devices.

In the year 2019 I Sumedha Phatak got detected with tumor in left eye.
After 4/5 weeks of surgery Dr Savari Desai recommended me to meet the most renowned eminent Ocularist doctor Pankaj Bhagwat Powai.
Ocularist Pankaj is a thoroughly trained professional skilled in the art of fitting, painting and fabricating custom ocular prostheses.
I was totally devastated state of mind and very dejected but after visiting doctor Pankaj my mindset changed completely.
I was positively motivated and inspired by his benevolent modest and expertise with humanity and concerned nature.He addressed all my issues so dedicatedly and sincerely and imbibed in me confidence courage and strength to face and adjust to this new artificial al prosthetic eye,to face this trauma from within with positivity he inspired me motivated me in that crucial time.Its my privileged that I was addressed to Doctor Bhagwat.
It was month of October 2019 ..Diwali time,I visited him on 22nd October in his powai clinic with modern resources well equipped specialized and expertise in high quality customized ocular prosthetics. He is amazing so cool modest down to earth so expert yet kind hearted a great human being with such great skills and outstanding expertise.He observed took measurements very casually but very deep profound in his work,for perfect fittings exquisite fabricating painting with great incredible finishing. 25th was Diwali festival and he proclaimed he assured I will give you a new natural eye before Diwali. YOU will celebrate Diwali festival with pride laughter happiness and be confident as you were before.
And on 24th my late father's birthday, I got my new eye fitted so perfectly so real so genuine look amazing same colour combination same shape same fabricated with so perfect acute finesse.It was difficult to track find which one is real and which one is prosthetic. They were so similar.I was overwhelmed and surprised to see my final look in the mirror, a dejected broken mother had got her lost eye yes there was no vision in it but there was so much respect gratitude and acknowledgement and gratefulness to doctor.
It regained reinforced courage confidence in me a sudden resurgence back to life back to reality to face the life.
I am so obliged to Ocularist Pankaj Bhagwat for giving me a new dignified life with such a beautiful eye so real original so pure so perfect accurate same structure same size same colour perfect finishing hats off
